Email Communications with insured.io
As part of the Service, you may occasionally receive administrative communications from insured.io (e.g., for purposes of Account recovery or password reset). Such communications are considered part of the Service and your Account, which you may not be able to opt-out from receiving. We may send other communications, at your behest (e.g., emailing a receipt of payment made within the Service). Note that insured.io will never email you to ask for your password or other Account Information; if you receive such an email, please forward it to us.
Personal Data
To provide the Service to you, we receive policy related information from your insurance company. This information may include information about your policy, coverages and payment related data.
While using the Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personal Data may include, but is not limited to:

Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City

Payments
We may also collect payment information from you to provide you with our Service. This may include making online payments using your credit card or bank account information. It may also include your ability to enroll in automatic payments with a saved payment method of your choice (ACH or credit card). We do not store your payment information, nor do we process the payments. All payment transactions initiated, by you, through our Service are processed by third party payment processor(s), chosen by your insurance company to be connected to our Service.
By sharing such payment information, you are consenting to our use of such information for the business purpose of providing you the Service.
Usage Data
We also collect information how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (i.e., IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Children's Privacy
As stated in our Terms of Use, our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Child” and/or "Children").

If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from Children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to purge that information from our servers.
We Use Standard Messaging Service Short Codes
If you opt-in for SMS text alerts, receipts and/or other messaging related to the Services, we may send you messages via short-code (a six-digit code sent to you when you “opt-in” to SMS text messaging services). For SMS messages provided in the Services hereunder, the following will apply:
1 . When you opt-in to the Service, we will send you an SMS message to confirm your signup.
2 . You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
3 . If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text "HELP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "HELP" to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe.
4 . We can deliver messages to the following mobile phone carriers: Major carriers: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Alltel, Boost Mobile, Nextel, and Virgin Mobile.
